Biography

Mephistofeles is one of the biggest acts of the new Doom Stoner scene from Argentina which has developed its own cult following all around the world.
In 2016 they released their debut album “Whore”, which got very popular in a short period of time.
The following year they released their second album “I’m Heroin”, which Jus Oborn from Electric Wizard picked as one of his favourites albums of 2017.

In 2019 their 3rd studio album “Satan Sex Ceremonies” was released. It was the first record produced entirely by the band itself.
Then on late 2022 “Violent Theatre” came out, being the last album recorded by the band’s original drummer.
Currently the group has a new line-up featuring Luca Frizza on drums and is working on their 5th record.
The band has a constant tight schedule of gigs around Argentina and South America. It has played together with worldwide renowned bands such as Acid King and Lucifer.

The band has now signed to Heavy Psych Sounds for the repress of the entire catalogue + new music + booking in Europe & UK.
